No.2 Palisade Begins Preparation For Big Match-Up Against No. 1 Rifle

GRAND JUNCTION, colo.-No. 2 Palisade (5-0, 3-0) began preparation Monday afternoon for Thursday's big game against No. 1 Rifle (5-0, 4-0).

Both teams made deep runs into the Class 3A State Playoffs in 2011, each reaching the semi-finals.

Rifle features senior runningback, Ryan Moeller. He leads Colorado in rushing (1307 yards) and touchdowns (20).

Kick-off is at 7 p.m. Thursday at Stocker Stadium.
