No. 7 Grand Junction Pulls Fourth Quarter Comeback to Defeat Mountain Vista

GRAND JUNCTION, colo.-No. 7 Grand Junction High School (2-0) def. Mountain Vista (0-1), 21-17, Friday night at Stocker Stadium scoring on their final possession of the game with under a minute remaining in regulation.

Jr. Quarterback, Tyler Heinzma scored on a broken play, qb keeper from just inside the Mountain Vista 10-yard-line to put Grand Junction ahead 20-17.

The game was scoreless until late in the second quarter when Mountain Vista Runningback, Tanner Smith ran one in from the Tiger 8-yard-line.

Grand Junction scored 14 points in the 4th to complete the comeback. They will host Rocky Mountain next Friday night at Stocker Stadium.
