No. 6 Grand Junction Falls 23-15 to No. 9 Ralston Valley in the Denverpost "Game of the Week"

GRAND JUNCTION, colo.-No. 6 Grand Junction (3-1) fell 23-15 Friday night to No. 9 Ralston Valley (2-1) in their first road contest of 2012.

Before this loss the Tigers had strung together 20 consecutive regular season wins.

Grand Junction struck first on a seven-yard touchdown run by Tyler Heinzma in the opening minutes of the second quarter.

Ralston Valley swung the momentum in the second half with a blocked punt, while also capitalizing on other Grand Junction mistakes.

Grand Junction will travel to Mountain Range in Week 4.
