No. 5 Grand Junction Downs No. 12 Mountain Range in the Opening Round of the Class 5A Girls Basketball Playoffs

GRAND JUNCTION, colo.-No. 5 Grand Junction (18-6) def. No. 12 Rocky Mountain (8-16), 52-31, Tuesday night in the opening round of the State Class 5A Girls Basketball Playoffs.

Grand Junction sophomore guard, Sydni Brandon led all scorers with 16 points.

The Tigers will travel to No. 4 Rock Canyon Friday night in the round of 32.
