No. 4 Rifle Holds off No. 12 Roosevelt in the Opening Round of the Class 3A State Playoffs

Grand JunctionNo. 4 Rifle High School defeated No. 12 Roosvelt High School 14-7 Saturday afternoon, to earn themselves a spot in the Class 3A quarterfinals.

Rifle jumped on the board first on a touchdown run by Brandon Kittle.

Then the Bears scored again, this time on the heels of junior running back Ryan Moeller.

Rifle will play No. 5 Windsor in the Round of 8.
