No. 1 Rifle Stays On Top With 4th Shutout

by Claire Brandon

RIFLE, Colo.--
The Bears scored 14 points off two Sailor turnovers in the first five minutes of the game.

Ryan Moeller, the state's leading rusher, kept the momentum going with a 22-yard touchdown run to give Rifle a 21-0 lead after the first quarter.

With the win, the Bears are now outscoring their opponents 360-22--Showing why they're the unanimous No. 1 team in the state.

Next up, Rifle will travel to Delta to take on the Panthers, who upset No. 3 Palisade Friday night.
