Montrose's Angelo Youngren Will Play in Friday's Playoff Opener

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.--Junior running back Angelo Youngren will play Friday night as No. 7 Montrose hosts No. 10 Mesa Ridge in the first round of Class 4A playoffs.

The Indians' leading scorer was out last week with an ankle injury, and head coach Todd Casebier said he was limited in practice this week as a precautionary measure.

Youngren is second in the state in Class 4A with 1, 498 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Montrose High School. Both teams are 7-3 on the year.
