GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.--Palisade clinched the Western Slope League Friday night with a 43-38 victory over Eagle Valley.

Grand Junction swept Montezuma-Cortez on the road. The girls won 64-18 to improve to 16-3 on the year. The boys were victorious 69-50, however, the Tigers lost DJ Wells to a sprained ankle. The sophomore will miss Saturday's matchup against Durango.

Fruita Monument girls cruised to a 63-23 win over Central at Central High School. On the boys side, the Warriors edged out the Wildcats 52-48.
