H.S. State Wrestling Preview

GRAND JUNCTION, colo.-The 2012-2013 State Wrestling Tournament begins Thursday at the Pepsi Center in Denver with more than fifty wrestlers representing the Western Slope.

Jacob Seely of Fruita Monument H.S. (170lbs.) and Jacob Trujillo of Grand Junction (145lbs.) are the top-ranked and seeded wrestlers in their respective weight classes.

Dalton Hannigan of Palisade is seeded second in the State in the 126lbs. weight class in Class 4A.

In Class 2A the Poania Eagles enter in as the top-ranked team. They will send 13 wrestlers to the State Tournament.

The Championship round will be held on Saturday with the "Parade of Champions" beginning at 6:30 p.m.
