HS Roundup: Grand Junction Boys Advance

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.--Fourth-seeded Grand Junction defeated fifth-seeded Fort Collins, 49-37, Saturday night at Grand Junction High School in round two of the Class 5A state tournament.

The Tigers (18-5) advance to play top-seeded Regis Jesuit in the Sweet 16.

In the girls 4A bracket, second-seeded Montrose edged out sixth-seeded Rifle, 43-33. The lady Indians will face top-seeded Broomfield.

Meanwhile Delta's season came to an end Saturday after falling to No. 1 Pueblo West, 58-45.
