Grand Junction's Robbie Owens Talks Round One Playoff Seeding

by Josh Moser

GRAND JUNCTION, colo.-Grand Junction (6-3) received the No. 23 seed in the 2012 playoffs and will travel to the No. 10 seeded and defending State 5A Champions Columbine in the opening round of the postseason.

The Tigers had a 20-game winning streak in the Southwestern League, before dropping two games this season--first to rival Fruita Monument and then to Montrose in Week 8.

Grand Junction will welcome back Jr. Runningback, Austin Lewis in against Columbine. He sat out last week because of a concussion.

The playoff game will be played on Friday afternoon at Jeffco Stadium.
