Grand Junction Hoops Preps For Central Tuesday Night

GRAND JUNCTION, colo.-Both Grand Junction High School basketball teams returned to practice Monday afternoon to get set for Tuesday night's Southwestern League match-up against Valley foe, Central.

Dutch Johnson's boys are 15-5 on the season with a 7-1 league record. They are coming off of two wins over the weekend over Durango and Montezuma Cortez.

Sophomore D.J. wells did not play Saturday against Durango because of a sprained ankle says he will play Tuesday against Central.

Meantime the Lady Tigers are 17-3 on the season, also with a 7-1 record in the Southwestern League.

Their success this season has been achieved without a single senior on the roster under Head Coach Sam Provenza.

Tip off is at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday night at Grand Junction High School.
