Grand Junction, Fruita Eliminated

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.--(20) Grand Junction and (27) Fruita Monument were shut out in the opening round of the Class 5A district tournament.

The Tigers fell to (13) Ralston Valley, 2-0, and were held to three hits on the day.

The Wildcats were taken down by (6) Dakota Ridge, 3-0.

No class, no character, no heart,no swl title, no shot at state. The poorest team in recent memory.All hype, no action.Past due time for coaching change.
