by Josh Moser

GRAND JUNCTION, colo.-The Denverpost named Fruita Monument Head Coach, Sean Mulvey as the "High School Coach of the Week" on Tuesday after the Wildcats big win over rival Grand Junction on Friday.

Mulvey's Wildcats never trailed in the rivalry upset that shocked the then eighth ranked Tigers.

This is the first time in five seasons that Fruita Monument has beaten Grand Junction High School.

"It's a great honor and its a reflection of the coaches that we have here and the kids," said Mulvey. "I'm humbled for being around all of these guys and having the opportunity to learn something new everyday from my coaches and players."
