Fruita Monument Sends Three Football Players to Coach's Alma Mater Western State

GRAND JUNCTION, colo.-Fruita Monument Head Coach Sean Mulvey is sending three players to his alma mater, Western State in 2013.

Seniors Vince Grasso, Zach Griggs, and Spencer Fair will all play football for the Mountaineers beginning in the Fall of 2013.

Fair will two-sport, competing in both basketball and football.

Grasso rushed for 1296 yards as a senior to go along with seven touchdowns. He also played linebacker helping the Wildcats to a 5-5 overall record.

Griggs was the kick return specialist for the Wildcats and averaged 17.5 yards per catch in 2012, despite battling injury throughout most of his senior season.

These three will join Zach Thorpe at Western, the former Wildcat quarterback signed a season ago also choosing the Mountaineers.
