Breaking News: Former Colorado Mesa University Head Football Coach Joe Ramunno Set to Join Palisade High School's Athletic Staff

Grand Junction-Breaking News: Palisade Athletic Director, Michael Krueger confirms to NewsChannel5's Josh Moser that former Colorado Mesa University Head Football Coach Joe Ramunno will join the Bulldogs' athletic staff.

Sources say that Ramunno turned down the head coaching job at Chadron State College, to stay in the Grand Valley.

Krueger says that he will have more details next week as to the extent that Ramunno will be a part of the athletic department.

There goes the budget for D51! How can we pay him when we are supposed to be cutting!

Well it only makes sense because John Arledge hasn't won a single conference championship or state title since he's been head coach. Now maybe the kids can put a letter or patch on their expensive letter jackets.
