GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.--Grand Junction Central (0-2) was edged out by Longmont (1-1) 28-21 Saturday at Stocker Stadium.

Despite being down 15-0 with two minutes left in the first half, the Warriors made a big comeback and managed to tie the game up at 21 late in the third quarter.

But Central couldn't stop Forrest Wetterstrom, who broke off on a 63-yard touchdown run to put Longmont up 28-21 with 2:23 left to play.

Wetterstrom also intercepted Mike Price's pass in the final minute of the game.
