Central Stays Winless After Second Half Collapse Against Green Mountain

GRAND JUNCTION, colo.-Central (0-4) had a 14-6 until the final minutes of the third quarter before eventually falling 21-14 against Green Mountain (4-0) in Week 4 of the high school football season.

Dusty Sanchez scored a 6-yard touchdown in the first quarter to put the Warriors up by six on their opening drive.

Sanchez would break off a 51-yard score in the opening minutes of the 3rd quarter to give the Warriors a 14-6 lead. However, Green Mountain answered right back mounting a scoring drive on their next possession.

The Rams then forced a fumble and took that into the endzone to give themselves a 21-14 lead in the 4th with just under five minutes to play.

Central will travel to Dakota Ridge in Week 5.
