Broderick Robinson and Lauren LaBonde, SWL Players of the Year

GRAND JUNCTION, colo.-Grand Junction's Broderick Robinson and Fruita Monument's Lauren LaBonde were named Monday as the 2012-2013 Southwestern League Players of the Year.

Robinson, the junior guard for the Tigers, averaged a league-best 15.6 ppg, while leading Grand Junction to a 9-1 League record.

Dutch Johnson, the Head Coach of Grand Junction, took home the coach of the year honors.

Nick Hamlin- F, Durango
Angelo Youngren - G, Montrose
Trey Fair- F, Central
Alex Lopez- F, Cortez
Spencer Fair- F, Fruita Monument

Senior Guard, Lauren LaBonde of Fruita Monument took home the Girls' Player of the Year honors. She averaged 12.2ppg en route to a League title over Grand Junction.

Fruita Monument Head Coach, Richard Atkins received the Coach of the Year honors, posting an 8-2 League record, while taking Fruita Monument into the State Class 5A Sweet 16.
