Grand Junction- The Grand Junction Rockies announced Monday that broadcaster Adam Spolane will be the 2012 voice of the ball club in their inaugural season in Grand Junction.

Spolane has spent the past three seasons in the Pioneer League as the voice of the Casper Ghosts, while also working during the off-season for the Texas Sports Radio Network.

"It's my fourth year, obviously my first in Grand Junction," said Polane. "I'm just excited to have the opportunity. I know I've been hearing from Tim (Ray) that the fan support has been incredible and I'm looking forward to meeting all of the people in Grand Junction and looking forward to bringing the baseball to them."

"You're going to get a lot of talent, that's certainly going to be clear," said Spolane. "Last year we had five of the top twenty prospects in the league, so that's what I'm looking forward to and baseball, anything can happen in the game and that's what our manager Tony Diaz always says.

This is wonderful and all, but why not go ahead and mention WHAT STATION he might be calling these games on so we can hear them.
