Todd Helton Helps GJ Rockies Win Their Fourth Straight

by Claire Brandon

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.--The Grand Junction Rockies defeated the Missoula Osprey Saturday as veteran first baseman Todd Helton concluded his two-day rehab assignment.

The Rockies were trailing by a run heading into the bottom of the eighth, but Wilfredo Rodriguez hit a go-ahead 2-run double en route to a 7-5 victory over the Diamondbacks affiliate.

The Rockies are on a four-game winning streak and improve to 17-15 on the season. They're now one game behind the first place Ogden Raptors (18-14) in the Pioneer League South.

Grand Junction will look to sweep Missoula Sunday in the final match-up of the four-game set. First pitch set for 2:05 p.m.
