Rockies Win in Walk-Off Fashion

GRAND JUNCTION, colo.-The Grand Junction Rockies (27-26, 6-9) def. the Helena Brewers (17-36, 4-11), 6-5, Monday night at Suplizio Field, marking their first walk-off win of 2012.

Julian Yan hit a liner into left in the bottom of the 9th to bring in Ashley Greater to earn the win in their first game against the Milwaukee franchise this season.

David Dahl extended his hitting streak to 25 games with a double down the right field line in the bottom of the 3rd.

Mike Mason (2-0, 8.64 ERA) earned the win for Grand Junction after throwing two scoreless innings to close out the night.

Jeff Popick went 3-4 and BB, bringing his batting average to a stifling .363 on the year.

Eddie Butler will throw out the first pitch tomorrow night for Grand Junction at 7:05 p.m.
