Rockies Win Third Straight, Dahl Extends Hitting Streak to Twenty-Six

GRAND JUNCTION, colo.- The Grand Junction Rockies (28-26, 6-9) shutout the Helena Brewers (17-37, 4-12), 6-0, Tuesday night at Suplizio field, notching their third straight game in the win column.

First-round pick David Dahl extended his hitting streak to 26 games on his very first at bat singling to right field before being brought around by Ashley Graeter on a two-RBI single. Graeter has an 11 game hitting streak of his own.

Eddie Butler (6-1, 2.53 ERA) earned the win for Grand Junction. The 46th overall selection in 2012 threw six scoreless innings allowing five hits, no walks, while having five strikeouts.

The Rockies will close out the series against Helena Wednesday night at Suplizio. First pitch will be thrown out at 7:05 p.m.
