Rockies Stay One Back of Owlz With Fifteen Games to Play

GRAND JUNCTION, colo.-The Grand Junction Rockies (33-28, 12-11) fell to the Helena Brewers (20-41, 6-17), 3-2, Wednesday night at Kindrick Legion Field, snapping their four-game winning streak against the Milwaukee club.

The loss is just the second in ten games for the Rockies, who will play two more in Helena before traveling to Great Falls on Saturday.

Matt Carasiti got the loss for Grand Junction, throwing 5 1/3, allowing three runs on six hits.

The Rockies remain one game back of first place Orem with 15 games to play in the second half of the regular season.
