GJ Rockies' Sunday Struggles Continue

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.--Despite a 10-run inning, the Grand Junction Rockies fell to the Ogden Raptors 15-11 in the final game of their homestand Sunday at Suplizio Field.

With the loss, the Rockies are 0-7 on Sundays and 1-10 against Ogden this season.

The Rockies were getting shutout 14-0 and held to two hits heading into the bottom of the sixth. They responded with 10 runs, but Ogden held on to the win.

David Dahl put the Rockies on the board with an RBI single to extend his hitting streak to 18 games. He went 3-for-5 with three RBIs and three runs. He's second in the Pioneer League hitting .382 and leads the league with 8 triples.

The Rockies travel to Orem Monday to begin a six-game road trip.
