GRAND JUNCTION, colo.-The Grand Junction Rockies (21-21, 0-4) fell to the Orem Owlz (21-21, 0-4) 7-4, Wednesday night at Suplizio Field, dropping their third consecutive game.

Shawn Stuart picks up the loss for Grand Junction after making his first professional start. Stuart a 31st round selection in 2012 out of Long Beach St.

David Dahl extended his hitting streak to 14 games going 1-3 on the night with an RBI.

However, the storyline tonight is the injury of OF/DH Ryan Garvey. He was hit by a pitch in the third inning on his wrist and was immediately removed from the game. Manager Tony Diaz said Garvey went to the emergency room to be x-rayed, but the team is still waiting on the results, but the first-year player out of Riverside CC (Ca.) is expected to be out for some time.

The Rockies will look to avoid getting swept in the series finale tomorrow night at Suplizio. First pitch at 7:05 p.m.
