by Josh Moser

GRAND JUNCTION, colo.-The Grand Junction Rockies (19-16) came from behind to defeat the Billings Mustangs (18-17), 4-3 Tuesday night at Suplizio Field, thanks to a two-run home run by first baseman Ben Waldrip.

Waldrip hit into a double play with the bases loaded in the 6th, that allowed Billings to escape the frame without any damage done.

Andrew Cisco was fabulous on the mound for the Mustangs-going 5IP, 0R, 5H, 4K's.

Brian Rike (2-1, 4.30 ERA) picks up the win for Grand Junction, while Scott Oberg picks up his league-leading and sixth save of the season.

The two teams will wrap up the three-game set Wednesday afternoon at Suplizio Field, with the Rockies tied for first place in the Pioneer League South with the Ogden Raptors with only three games remaining in the first half of the season.
