GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.--Grand Junction Rockies first baseman Ben Waldrip was named the Pioneer League Player of the Week Monday afternoon.

He hit .427 with four homers and 10 RBIs in six games last week.

The 10th round pick from this year's draft started out the season 6-for-39.
