Starting Rotation Set for #20 Colorado Mesa

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.--The Mavericks' starting rotation is set as #20 Colorado Mesa opens the 2013 season this weekend at #23 UC-San Diego.

Righty Aaron Corwin, a transfer from Texas Tech, earned the No. 1 spot and will start on Friday in the season opener.

On the bump in game two will be Matt Williams from the University of Tampa. The right-handed pitcher redshirted last season due to NCAA transfer rules.

Back-to-back preseason RMAC Pitcher of the Year Nolan Snell is the No. 3 starter. He's coming off a shoulder injury and did not participate in fall ball.

This weekend is a three-game set, but in four game series, lefty Garrett Carpenter is the fourth man in the Mavs' rotation.
