Shelton State Shuts Out Polk State To Stay Alive In The 2012 JUCO World Series

GRAND JUNCTION, colo.-Shelton State (AL) (39-22) def. Polk State (FL) (46-12) 6-0 on Tuesday afternoon, eliminating the Eagles from this year's World Series.

Alex Aultman threw six scoreless innings keeping Polk State off the board--the right-hander had a no-hitter through four innings.

Polk State's Head Coach, Al Corbeil left Grand Junction late Monday night to go back to Florida after he found out that his wife was having a baby.

Shelton advances to Jefferson College (MO) tomorrow at 3p.m. in Wednesday's only elimination game.
