by Claire Brandon

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.--Rockies' top pick David Dahl signed for a $2.6 million signing bonus Tuesday, according to his agent, Adam Karon.

"Just to see all the hard work I put in," Dahl said. "To see it finally pay off, it was an awesome feeling. All of this hasn't even sunk in yet. My head's still kind of spinning."

The 10th overall pick in the 2012 MLB First-Year Player Draft will fly from Denver to Grand Junction Wednesday morning. The outfielder is set to start his professional career with the Grand Junction Rockies.
