Rockies Sweep Brewers, David Dahl Extends Hitting Streak to Twenty-Seven

GRAND JUNCTION, colo.-The Grand Junction Rockies (28-26, 8-9) def. the Helena Brewers (17-38, 4-13), 5-4, Wednesday night, earning the sweep over the Milwaukee franchise.

Johendi Jiminian (1-2, 8.21 ERA) earned his first win of 2012, throwing five innings giving up both Brewer runs.

David Dahl extends his hitting streak to 27 games chasing the all-time Pioneer League record of 32 games.

The sweep is the first three-game brooming of any team this season.

The Rockies will welcome in the Great Falls Voyagers beginning Thursday night.
