Rockies Drop Final Game of Inaugural Homestand to Orem 7-6

GRAND JUNCTION, colo.-The Grand Junction Rockies (5-5) fell, 7-6, to the Orem Owlz (2-8) Wednesday at Suplizio Field, dropping their final game of their Inaugural homestand.

Grand Junction found themselves down 5-0 in the top of the third thanks to a three-run home run by Jarrod Parks, his second of the year.

The Rockies rallied back with three runs in the bottom frame, but were shut out after the sixth inning.

Despite the loss, the Rockies won four of five game in their opening homestand.

They will travel to Ogden on Thursday for a quick two-game set, before five more games against Orem--three in Utah and two more at Suplizio Field.
