No.1 Rifle Downs No. 2 Palisade 31-3 at Stocker Stadium

GRAND JUNCTION, colo.-No. 1 Rifle (6-0, 5-0 WSL) def. No. 2 Palisade (5-1, 3-1), 31-3, Thursday night at Stocker Stadium in a match-up between the State's two top teams in Class 3A.

The Bears jumped out to a 17-0 lead in the first quarter, thanks to touchdowns by Kellin Leigh and Ryan Moeller. Moeller finished with two scores on the night bringing his total to a State's best 22 on the season.

Palisade was unable to find the endzone at any point in the game. The Bears have allowed just 15 points through the first six weeks of the season.
