NCAA Regional Day One Early: Live Report

GRAND JUNCTIONThe 2012-2013 Women's NCAA Division II Regional Tournament tipped off Friday night at Brownson Arena with a bid to the Elite 8 on the line.

Sixth-seeded Metro State of the RMAC Conference def. three-seeded St. Marys (TX) 58-55 in the Regional Opener to advance to the semi-finals tomorrow night.

Second-seeded Midwestern St. (TX) def. seventh-seeded Tartleton St. (TX) 91-78, in the other quarterfinal match-up.

The semi-finals will take place Saturday night at Brownson Arena beginning at 5pm.
