Men's Basketball to Open Season Friday

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.--
The Mavs are picked to finish third in the RMAC Pre-Season Poll and return nine players, including three starters, from last year.

Head coach Jim Heaps, entering his 17th season at the helm of the program, says this year's team is the most experienced he's had in a while; however, senior Chandler Burgon is out with a shoulder injury, and redshirt freshman Trevor VanTassel injured his knee last week.
