Megan Rush named RMAC Second Team All-Conference

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.--Senior Libero Megan Rush was named Rocky Mountain Athletic All-Conference Second Team in the 2012 RMAC Volleyball Awards released today from league office.

Rush led the conference in digs and digs per set. She registered 499 digs and 4.99 digs per set. She had a team high 25 service aces and was one of three Mavericks to start all 27 matches. Rush recorded double-digit digs in 24 of the 27 matches and tallied two matches with 30+ digs.

Rush and the Mavericks enter the RMAC Volleyball Tournament as the #8 seed and will face #1 seed Colorado School of Mines in Golden on Tuesday night. The Orediggers are ranked No. 12 in the latest Division II poll and boast RMAC Player of the Year, Jackie Stabell.
