Iowa Western Wins 2012 National Title

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.--Top-ranked Iowa Western rallied with two runs in the top of the ninth to beat No. 8 San Jacinto, 6-5, in the 2012 JUCO National Championship.

The Reivers scored the go-ahead run on a balk with the bases loaded.

It's their second national title in the past three years after beating San Jacinto 5-4 in 2010.

I'm very proud of Iowa Western. I'm from Iowa and when ever an Iowa team can come to Colorado and win a big game like the Juco National Championship it's a Wonderful thing. Congrats to all the players and coachs from Iowa Western.
