Grand Junction's Austin Berk to West Coast All-Star Game

GRAND JUNCTION, colo.-Grand Junction Senior Defensive End, Austin Berk received an offer Wednesday to play in the 1st Annual South Bay BMW West Coast Bowl, in Southern California.

The Bowl will take place Sunday, January 27th at the Home Depot Center in Carson, CA. The country's most unique game will feature top Pac-12 recruits and other future collegiate football stars from the Western Region.

Berk, has committed to CSU and will graduate high school next month in order to participate in Spring practice.

The early enrollment may force Berk to the sidelines at the Bowl game because he would already be a college student-- thereby forfeiting his high school eligibility.

He was an All-State 5A selection as a junior and is ranked as high as the fourth recruit in the state according to Prepstar.com.
