GRAND JUNCTION, colo.-Fruita Monument (17-6, 8-2 SWL) def. rival Grand Junction(18-4, 8-2 SWL), 48-39, Friday night clinching the SWL crown away from Grand Junction.

State Playoff seedings will be determined this weekend with first round action scheduled to begin on Tuesday night.
