Colorado Mesa Begins Prep For No. 1 Metro State

GRAND JUNCTION, colo.-Colorado Mesa's Men's Basketball team (12-3, 9-2 RMAC) got back to practice Tuesday afternoon beginning preparation for Friday's big match-up against No. 1 Metro State.

The Mavericks have won their last five games since falling to No. 20 Fort Lewis and No. 18 Adams State right before the Christmas recess.

CMU also welcomes back Senior Forward Chandler Burgon he participated for the first time this season last Saturday against Western State coming back from a torn right labrum.

Tip-off is at 7:30pm on Friday night. The CMU Athletic Department is asking everyone to wear black in support of a "blackout" against No. 1 Metro State.
