Brady Adamek Gets Second Tryout with Grand Junction Rockies

GRAND JUNCTION, colo-Grand Junction home-grown ballplayer, Brady Adamek, has earned a second tryout with the Grand Junction Rockies.

NewsChannel5 Sports Director, Josh Moser broke the news late Thursday afternoon, after it was confirmed by Grand Junction Rockies Pitching Coach, Ryan Kibler.

Kibler told Moser that Adamek will throw Monday at 2 p.m. at Suplizio Field before the game against the Orem Owlz.

Adamek impressed Rockies scouts at last Friday's open tryout hitting 95 m.p.h. on the radar gun.

Adamek grew up and Grand Junction before going on to star at Buena Vista High School in Buena Vista, Colorado.

The right-hander then went onto play for Steve Murry at Neosho County CC, and has spent the last two years at Oakland University (MI.).

The Grand Junction pitching staff has given up 34 runs over their first three games.
