PALISADE, Colo.- Tyler and William Jensen were buried Thursday in Palisade by family members and friends.

"It's been a long time coming, but God gave us the strength to get through it," said Robert Mathena, the grandfather of the Jensen boys.

Tyler, 4, and William, 2, were laid to rest Thursday next to their father at the Palisade Cemetery.

"[It's been] Very emotional, very grateful, thank God it's here finally, we get to get some closure," said Mathena.

The family said the boys entered the world together, and they're leaving it the same way; together. They put Tyler and William Jensen in the same casket with their arms linked together.

"We had to go to a full size casket because of the width. We didn't want them crammed together," said Mathena.

Heather Jensen, the mother of the two boys is being charged with child abuse resulting in death and criminally negligent homicide. Tyler and William died from hyperthermia after being left in a vehicle on the Grand Mesa in November.
