Young Cancer Patient Attends Inauguration

WASHINGTON D.C- A young child engaged up in a courageous battle with brain cancer is attending President Obama's inauguration at the capitol.

Nathan Norman is six-years-old from Lynchburg, Virginia.

Little did Norman know a simple Christmas wish would bring him and his family to DC for the President's inauguration.

Norman originally asked for Christmas cards from emergency responders because they are his heroes.

The response was overwhelming.

Hundreds of police, fire, EMS military and even secret service sent Nathan cards and gifts.


The Secret Service even arranged for Norman and his family to attend President Obama's inauguration ceremony in Washington D.C.

Norman will be in a limousine with his family somewhere behind the President in the parade.
