GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. On Wednesday, The Workforce Center of Mesa County is hosting another job fair this year.
The center says the first "Jobfest" was so successful that over 1800 people were in attendance.
The event will be filled with 30 employers all actively hiring and a variety of sectors will be in attendance including, energy, health-care, and hospitality occupations.
The Workforce Center encourages all job seekers to come to the event well prepared, dressed appropriately, and bring plenty of copies of their resumes.
“Each employment has a job booth table set up and their processes are all a little different. They might be having you fill out an application right here. They might just be giving you information about the jobs they have available. Some might even be conducting interviews on the spot,” said Business Services Manager, Suzie Miller.
The “Jobfest” job fair is on October 1st at the Lincoln Park Auditorium Barn on 12Th street and Gunnison Avenue.
All job seekers are welcome to attend from 9 am to 4 pm.
The Workforce center is dedicating the first half of the fair for veterans to come out and seek job opportunities.
