Woman Dies After Being Involved in Possible Hit and Run

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- A local woman has died after being involved in a possible hit-and-run early Sunday morning.

Witnesses say around 2:30 a.m. on Oct. 7, 32-year-old Amber Davidovich was at the corner of Ninth and Main streets.

Witnesses saw her attempt to flag down a driver of a dark-colored Dodge Dakota.

Shortly after, witnesses say they heard the vehicle leave and noticed Davidovich on the ground.

She was transported to St. Mary's Hospital that night with serious injuries and later died.

Officials are now looking for the driver of the truck.
