Winners Announced for Mesa County Fair Wine Contest

MESA COUNTY, Colo.- Officials have released the winners of the 2012 Mesa County Fair Wine Contest.

Grand River Vineyard's 2007 Reserve Cabernet Franc took home the gold.

The Palisade Reserve Cabernet Franc received the best in show award.

Wines produced by Mesa Park Vineyards, Carlson Vineyards and Talon Winery were also awarded gold medals.

In all, four gold medals were awarded in this year's competition, along with 13 silver medals and 28 bronze medals.
