Westminster Park Named After Slain 10-Year-Old Girl

WESTMINSTER, Colo.- Nearly two months after the abduction and death of 10-year-old Jessica Ridgeway, a park in the town where she lived in has been renamed in her memory.

The Westminster City Council voted to change the name of Chelsea Park to Jessica Ridgeway Memorial Park.

Jessica had lived in Westminster with her mother.

There's also a plan to redevelop the park so it serves as a happy celebration of Jessica's life.
