Welfare Fraud Suspect Receives Charges

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. April Creasman, 34, receivied her charges in court Tuesday, in connection to a welfare fraud case that has been ongoing for several years.

Among the ten count complaints Creasman received was five seperate felony charges for theft as well as a handful of misdemeanor theft charges.

Investigators believe they have enough evidence to prove that between January of 2008 and April of 2012 Creasman stole more then 38-thousand dollars in various benefits.

Creasman will be back in court Dec. 11.
