GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- City pipeline maintenance crews were working for several hours Wednesday to fix a broken waterline.

City officials say around noon, a 10-inch waterline broke on Orchard Avenue between 28 1/2 and 28 and 1/4 Roads.

Officials say 12 residents were affected.

Officials say the line was under a stretch of concrete on Orchard Avenue and needed to be cut open to access the broken pipe.

At around 5 p.m. crews repaired everything and opened up the roadway.
